Update 2/3/17: A Seattle federal judge on Friday put a nationwide block on U.S. President Donald Trump's week-old executive order that had temporarily barred refugees and nationals from seven countries from entering the United States. The judge's temporary restraining order represents a major setback for Trump's action, though the White House said late Friday that it believed the ban to be "lawful and appropriate" and that the U.S. Department of Justice would file an emergency appeal. When citizens exercise their First Amendment Right to assemble to say that the government isn't always right, the premise of the Constitution prevails when mankind invests hate-fueled faith and trust into unjust, abusive power and control.
Ironically, following the worldwide Women's March, a New York Federal Court temporarily blocked President Trump's travel ban on immigrants and refugees. The ruling remains in effect for one week.
It doesn't matter what side of "the wall" we're on: Women's Rights, Black Lives Matter, LBTQ, Immigration, ObamaCare, Climate Change, Domestic Violence, Free and Appropriate Education, and so forth. What matters most is taking a common sense approach to implementing policies to ensure safety for all citizens. In retrospect, my common sense is not the President's common sense, vice versa.
As a side thought about die-hard constituents committing felony "hate crimes". Think twice before assaulting WOMEN, men and CHILDREN. Reckless ignorance will come with a high price to pay: Freedom Or, maybe not if you credit "white privilege", a by-product of slavery, as your saving grace.
Moral: Action without careful, strategic thought is misguided (government) management, reckless, and extreme aggression to push forward a political agenda. But, at whose expense? The national security of the country? The livelihood of the country? To be continued....
